Sources Signl finds for you

Signl suggests authors and topic searches where your ICP people already gather, from what your sources found, with the reason and the people behind each.

Updated Oct 7, 2026

Your sources find people who fit your ICP. Those people also comment on other posts and keep using the same words. Signl uses that to suggest where to look next, at the top of the Sources page.

Two kinds of suggestion

  • Authors to watch: people whose posts drew two or more of your ICP people in the last 30 days and whom you do not watch yet. For example: "5 of your ICP people engaged with Marcus Lind's posts in the last 30 days, 3 of them describing a pain."
  • Topics to search: phrases three or more of your ICP people used across two or more posts, such as "month end close". The weekly market brief adds the phrases buyers repeat most.

Each suggestion shows the people it is based on and one thing they said, so you can judge it.

Adding or dismissing

Watch or Search adds the source the normal way, within your plan's source limit. Not now hides the suggestion for good. A suggestion you added is not offered again, even if you later remove the source.

Plans

Suggestions are on every plan. Free accounts see three at a time; Starter and Pro see all of them.

Common questions

Do suggestions cost anything?

No. Suggestions are worked out from people your sources already found, so making them costs nothing on any plan. A source you add from a suggestion works like any other: it counts toward your plan's source limit, a search counting as 2, and nothing is charged per person it finds. The AI filters out the noise as usual.

Why do I see no suggestions?

Suggestions need people to learn from. An author is suggested once two or more of your ICP people engaged with their posts in the last 30 days, and a topic once three or more used the same words on two or more posts. After your first collections they start to appear.
