The short version. "Unlimited" on the Signl Unlimited plan means unlimited searching. You can run as many signal searches, Loops and weekly drops as you like. It does not mean an unlimited number of verified contacts, because every contact we reveal costs us money with a third-party data provider. That part is capped, and the cap is published below rather than hidden.
What is genuinely unlimited
These cost us nothing meaningful to serve, so we don't meter them:
- Signal searches against our database (
search_signals) - Loops: saved recurring searches, and the matches they surface
- The weekly drop of newly funded companies
- Number of connected agents, API keys, and CLI usage
- Re-downloading contacts you have already unlocked
What is capped, and by how much
Revealing a verified contact means paying a data provider on every lookup, including lookups that come back empty. Those are the limits:
| Limit | Unlimited plan | Launch package |
|---|---|---|
| Verified contacts | 4,000 / month | 3,000 total |
| Enrichment attempts | 7,000 / month | 5,000 total |
| Premium market searches (by technology or department size) |
30 / month | Not included |
| Validity | Resets each billing cycle | 90 days from signup |
Why "attempts" are counted separately
When you ask for a contact, we search several providers for a verified email address. Sometimes none of them can find one. You are never charged a credit for a failed lookup, but we are still charged by the provider. The attempts limit exists so that a very high volume of unsuccessful lookups can't run up costs indefinitely. In normal use you will reach the contact limit long before the attempts limit.
What happens if you reach a limit
Nothing is deleted, disabled, or charged extra without your say-so. Specifically:
- Searching, Loops and the weekly drop keep working normally.
- New contact reveals pause until your next billing cycle.
- You'll see a clear message telling you which limit you reached and when it resets.
- If you need more, contact us. We'll either raise your limit or talk about whether a managed service is a better fit. We will not silently bill you for overage.
Reasonable use
We also ask that you don't:
- Share one account across multiple organisations, or resell access
- Redistribute or resell the contact data itself as a dataset or list
- Automate the service in a way designed purely to exhaust the limits
- Use the data in breach of applicable data protection law (see below)
If we think an account is being used this way, we'll contact you first. We'd only suspend an account without warning where continuing would cause us immediate harm.
Data protection
Signl provides business contact details for business-to-business prospecting. Where we process personal data of individuals in the UK or EEA, we rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR. You are an independent controller of any data you export, and you are responsible for your own lawful basis, notice and opt-out handling when you contact those individuals. Deletion requests reaching us are actioned across our systems.
Changes to these limits
If we reduce a published limit, we'll give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice by email, and you may cancel before it takes effect. Increases apply immediately.
